As President & Chief Executive Officer, Ed Kenty leads Park Place Technologies’ rapid growth strategy and evolution from start up to established high growth company. Ed joined Park Place Technologies as Senior Vice President of Service Operations, but quickly demonstrated his ability to guide the overall organization. While Ed is an accomplished professional with over twenty-five years of experience in the information technology industry, he brings much more than experience to the company. He brings leadership, vision and spirit.
Ed Kenty started his professional life not in the technology business, but in the business of professional sports. As a professional hockey player, Ed honed his leadership skills, learned the importance of teamwork to succeed, and was able to use his sharp competitive spirit for the betterment of his team. At Park Place Technologies, Ed brings leadership, emphasizes the value of cooperation, and infuses the team with his strong competitive streak. It is critical to our culture.
Prior to Park Place, Ed Kenty spent over twenty years in a technology service capacity including Customer Service, Logistics, Service Marketing, Field Service and Service Sales. He held senior management positions at several leading technology companies, including Century Business Solutions (CBIZ), Honeywell Bull, Wang Laboratories, Data General and EMC. Ed also balanced education and sports, earning a BS/BA in Marketing from the Boston College School of Management and a spot in Boston College’s Hall of Fame.
