Park Place International is seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to handle all essential duties for the accounts payable function. The ideal candidate must be analytical, have a positive attitude, and possess excellent communication skills.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Responsible for all incoming invoices, data entry into MAS 90, match invoices to purchase orders; obtain all appropriate approvals.
• Maintain vendor relationships with a high volume of accounts
• Manage all check runs, as well as manual checks
• Research and resolve vendor inquiries on outstanding issues
• Maintain accounts payable documents in detailed order
• Month-end activities including accruals, general ledger postings, prepaids, and reconciliation

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years experience in Accounts Payable (A/P) required
• Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
• Excellent PC skills, including MS Office
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective oral and written skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as being a team member
• Self-starter
