Business Development Representative
Responsible for generating contract maintenance sales leads, which will be reviewed and distributed to Senior Sales Representatives and qualifying prospects. The Business Development Representative will also proactively contact the customer base and present features, functions, and benefits of utilizing our turnkey services and solutions.
Maintain a healthy and positive relationship with new clients in order to facilitate future sales. This position does not close sales, but may lead to a sales position. Operates under moderate supervision, reporting to the Director of Service Sales.
Duties:
Generate and qualify new business leads
Call prospective contract maintenance clients
Maintain communication to facilitate future sales
Identify hot opportunities and take immediate action
Use scripted questions to qualify prospects and generate interest
Communicate feedback on results to Director of Services Sales
Maintain accurate record of activities in CRM (Goldmine) system
Demonstrated success in producing results and fulfilling stated goals
Minimum Qualifications
Exceptional customer service skills
Friendly phone personality; articulate in proposing value of services to decision makers across all industries
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Exceptional time management skills
Competent in Microsoft Office products
2-3 years phone generation lead experience (preferred)
Service or hardware technology experience (preferred)
Previous work in a Sales environment required
