OpSus|Recover

A major underlying principle of Operational Sustainability is having a plan and a method for operational continuance in the event of a disaster.

OpSus|Recover, our cloud-based Disaster Recovery Service, is specially designed to provide MEDITECH customers with a fully-compliant, secure method of recovering data and restoring operations.

Built using disciplined hybrid private cloud architecture with MEDITECH-certified servers and storage, OpSus|Recover meets and exceeds all MEDITECH best practices for systems provisioning and deployment.

OpSus|Recover is provisioned in a highly-resilient Tier 4 data center, the highest availability rating as defined by EIA, TIA, and the Uptime Institute. Replication across multiple OpSus Network Operating Centers (NOCs) provides further disaster recovery insurance in the event of a geographic or physical infrastructure emergency at one OpSus location.

The OpSus|Recover service is available in a variety of Service Levels:

Bronze – Designed for hospitals with MAGIC direct-attached storage, Bronze customers ship their backup tapes to the OpSus|Recover site at the time of the disaster, where they are restored onto our Disaster Recovery Platform.

Silver – For MAGIC, C/S, and 6.x customers running ISB, our Silver service provides replication services from an installed replication appliance at the customer premise to the OpSus|Recover site. In the event a disaster strikes, the save-sets at OpSus are restored to our disaster recovery SAN to facilitate recovery.

Gold – Gold customers also replicate to OpSus|Recover, with the advantage of having each save-set automatically restored to our Disaster Recovery SAN, enabling a faster restoration in the event of a disaster.

Our Technical Consultants can work with you to determine the optimal Recovery Point Objective and Recovery Time Objective and decide which service level is best for your organization.
