Park Place International software professionals have extensive experience in assisting customers in resolving the complex software and hardware interoperability problems that can impact productivity and up-time. Technology coverage can include: UNIX, All Microsoft® Windows Platforms, Novell NetWare, Legato, and Linux distributions
Park Place International does not have rights to the intellectual property of the ISV or OEM. We strongly recommend the customer maintain a software contract with their ISV/ OEM to maintain rights to any updates of their licensed code, including; patches, firmware, microcode etc.

Collaborative Support with the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

As PPI provides operational assistance to the customer and the problem is identified to be an OEM or ISV issue, PPI will work collaboratively with the customer and their ISV and assist in the vendor-led resolution of the issue. Collaborative support does not replace a support contract with Park Place International; rather, it provides reasonable coordination, monitoring, and single point of contact until resolution by the ISV is completed.

Park Place International's knowledgeable team can provide over-the-phone consultation and remote assistance to help answer your questions about configuration, updates or installation. Via our dial-in capability, our specialists can quickly troubleshoot complex issues when it is not clear if the application, network, hardware, operating system or firmware is the source of the problem.

Exclusions from Coverage
Complex issue resolution with software support does not include the following types of support:
o Software applications not explicitly named herein
o Remote or on-site training assistance
o Scripting, programming, database design/implementation or Web development
o Recompiled kernels
o New-release products where Park Place International may not have established expertise
o Custom applications, functions or assemblies or other development applications
